Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to experience its next Taste & Learn on Saturday, March 25, at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

The March Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from Tenuta di Arceno. Located on an ancient Tuscan estate, the winery offers a diverse portfolio of high-quality wines made from native Sangiovese grapes as well as other international varieties. Since the 16th century, the winemakers of this region have distinguished themselves as some of the world’s greatest producers of red wine.   

Taste & Learn attendees will begin the tasting with the Chianti Classico Riserva, a dark red wine with a perfect balance of rich fruit and velvety tannins. Second on the menu is the Strada al Sasso Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, a complex red wine saturated with dark fruit and roasted coffee beans. Next, the Valadorna Super Tuscan offers hints of chocolate and dried rose petals. Guests will conclude the tasting with the Arcanum Cabernet Franc, a fragrant blend of plums, sweet mint, sage and thyme.

“Red wine lovers will particularly enjoy the March Taste & Learn featuring four of the most notable red wines from Tuscany,” said Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s. “Each tasting includes exquisitely prepared dishes by Chef Mimmo Ferraro to round out the experience.”
