This summer, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar offers a way to travel the flavors of Italy without leaving Las Vegas with its Summer Regional Menu Series, a changing rotation of prix fixe menus inspired by Italy’s most renowned culinary regions. Each four-course menu is offered for a superb summertime value of $49 per person; wines selected to complement each menu are offered at special prices as well.

The next Summer Regional Menu spotlights Sardegna—known as Sardinia in English—and launches Aug. 9th and continues through Aug. 22nd. The island of Sardegna is Italy’s second-largest (after Sicilia) and is home to twice as many sheep as people. Consequently, sheep’s milk pecorino cheese and local variations—such as Fiore Sardo—is ubiquitous. Also unique to Sardegna are distinctive pasta shapes such as culurgiones, a filled pasta, and the gnocchi-like malloreddus. A deep-fried semolina dumpling, called seadas, serves as a popular Sardinian dessert finished off with honey and cheese.

Ferraro’s full Sardegna-inspired menu follows:
