We have some exceptional news, so prepare to mark your calendars now—on January 30, we will host Wine Enthusiast Winemaker of the Year nominee Elisa Scavino of Paolo Scavino winery for an extraordinary dinner. Elisa will be presenting and we will all indulge in some of this legendary Barolo winery’s most esteemed vintages, including an ’89 and ’99. We also will be auctioning off a 5-liter magnum of Barolo Riserva Rocche dell’Annunziata—an incredible $4,000 value.

Paolo Scavino is a historical winery founded in 1921 and now operated by Enrico Scavino and his daughters Elisa and Enrica, who represents the fourth generation of the family’s winemakers. Devoted to viticulture and with a passion for the land, the Scavinos focus on preserving and enhancing the distinctiveness of the terroir in their wines made with local grapes: Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo.

As you would expect, our creative Chef Francesco has prepared a masterful array of accompaniments to the night’s wines. Our menu follows:
