Travel to Calabria with Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar during the next stop on its tour through Italy with the 2018 Summer Regional Menu Series. All summer, Ferraro’s is offering a changing rotation of prix-fixe menus inspired by Italy’s most renowned culinary regions; Calabria’s menu will be featured from June 29 – July 12. Each Summer Regional Menu is priced at $49 per person and select bottles of wine, chosen by Ferraro’s sommelier to complement the featured menu, are offered at special values as well.

Gino Ferraro, the family patriarch, immigrated to the United States from Calabria. The region is known for its produce and seafood, as well as preserved vegetables and meats and fish with enhanced with olive oil and spices. ‘Nduja sausage, spicy Calabrese peppers and caciocavallo cheese are among the ingredients from Calabria found in this menu.
