Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar offers groups an extraordinary experience at Las Vegas’ premier destination for Italian food and wine. Its award-wining Taste & Learn program is a two-hour, customized wine- and food-tasting experience that gives guests a chance to learn about Italy’s diverse winemaking regions while enjoying small bites prepared to bring out the very best the wines offer.

The experience begins when guests are greeted with a glass of sparkling prosecco, Italy’s most revered aperitivo. Next come four expertly prepared, contemporary Italian small-plate dishes prepared by Executive Chef Francesco DiCaudo, who applies authentic cooking methods with the season’s freshest ingredients.

Each dish is paired with a different, exquisite Italian wine, selected by Ferraro’s Owner Gino Ferraro, a certified sommelier who personally curates the restaurant’s collection of more than 12,000 bottles. For each tasting, he provides information about the origin of the wine, the history of the winemaker and its notable characteristics that make it pair well with its accompanying small plate. Originally from the Calabria region of Italy, Ferraro places special emphasis on Italian wines and has visited the Italian wine country at least 50 times, touring more than 1,000 wine cellars and producers.

Each Taste & Learn may be customized according to the client’s preferences and budget, with prices per person ranging from $65 to $100 per person, depending upon the varietals and cuisine desired. A sample menu follows:

  • Aperitivo: Prosecco
