Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to embark on a culinary “Tour of Italy” with its upcoming Taste & Learn dinner, “Giro d’Italia,” on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 5 p.m. This engaging and educational evening will showcase a curated selection of Italian wines from diverse regions, presented by Copa Fina Wines. Owner Kirk Peterson will be in attendance to guide guests through the tasting experience.

Inspired by the famed Giro d’Italia cycling race, this dinner offers a journey across Italy’s renowned wine regions, pairing distinctive varietals with thoughtfully crafted dishes prepared by executive chef Mimmo Ferraro that highlight regional flavors and traditions. Designed to be approachable as well as informative, the Taste & Learn series provides guests with illuminating insight into the wines while enjoying Ferraro’s signature cuisine.

Guests will begin with Biancolella, a bright and coastal white wine with crisp citrus and mineral notes. Next, Femina Etna Rosso presents a vibrant expression with red fruit and earthy undertones provided by its volcanic terroir. Volpolo di Sapaio follows, offering elegantly balanced structure and depth. Concluding the evening will be Primo Antico Trabucco, a bold wine with a rich, layered character.
