After his Graduation from the Culinary
Academy and taking a business management Course at UNLV, Mimmo
studied in Tuscany, Italy, working under some Of the best
Chefs Italy has to offer. Mimmo’s Father, Gino, has
been around food his whole life also, since his birth in Satriano,
in the Calabria Province of Italy. Gino now is the director
of Wine for Ferraro’s. His Extensive knowledge of Italian
Wine can be seen in the award winning Wine List available
at Ferraro’s. Ferraro’s has garnered such accolades
as “5 Star Diamond Award”, “DiRona Award
of Excellence”, and the “Wine Spectator Award
of Excellence” and a “Wine Enthusiast Award”.
In Mimmo’s own words, “I love
what I do! I have a passion for the Restaurant and service
industry. I enjoy every aspect of the business; from being
in the kitchen creating new dishes and doing what comes natural
to me. I enjoy walking in the dining room, talking to the
regular customers and meeting new people. I always try to
make them feel welcome and a part of the family, because that
is what we are…. A Family!!! Working along with My Father,
Mother, Sisters and Grandmother are by far the greatest rewards
Of this business.
